Angola's Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, has announced that it had declared Monday, February 15, 2021, as an additional Carnival public holiday, due to the date of Carnival falling on a Tuesday ("em virtude da data do feriado do Carnaval calhar numa terça-feira").

The aforementioned announcement ("O Ministério da Administração Pública, Trabalho e Segurança Social vai suspender a actividade laboral no dia 15 deste mês"), goes on to state that the decision was made as per the lemmas 1 and 2 of article 6 of the Law no. 10/11 on National Holidays and National Celebration Locations and Dates. It does however amend the list of 2021 public holidays in Angola, as announced last month (2021-01-11).
