After days of rumours, there has been an official confirmation that the May 24, 2021, feriados con fines turísticos, established in the decree 947/2020, would be moved to Friday, August 13, 2021, to avoid a 4-day weekend during a peak of the current pandemic.

The aforementioned move of the May 24, 2021, bridge public holiday to August 13, to be the subject of an upcoming Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU), thus amends the list of 2021 public holidays in Argentina, as specified by last autumn's Decreto 947 -Establécense días feriados con fines turísticos (2020-11-27).
