Bolivian Half-Day Public Holiday For Women's Day In 2021

Bolivia's Director General of Labor, Arturo Alessandri, has issued a communique announcing that there would be a half-day public holiday for Bolivian women on Monday, October 11, 2021, on account of Bolivian Women's Day Día de la Mujer Boliviana.

As usual (2019-10-10, 2018-10-10, 2017-10-10 and 2016-10-10), the aforementioned announcement ("Esta disposición se adopta en cumplimiento a lo dispuesto por el Decreto Ley 7352 de 5 de octubre de 1965, que declaró el 11 de octubre de cada año como el Día de la Mujer Boliviana, en homenaje a la educadora y poetisa Adela Zamudio") refers itself to the Decreto Ley 07352 de 11 de octubre de 1965 and the later Decreto Supremo 17081 de 1979 and is limited to women employees.
