In a radio announcement, earlier tonight, the Ministre du Travail et de la sécurité sociale of the Central African Republic announced the declaration of Tuesday, March 30, 2021, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Central African Republic on account of the inauguration of the recently-re-elected Président Faustin Archange Touadera.
The aforementioned announcement states that "Le gouvernement centrafricain, dans un communiqué lu à la radio nationale, déclare fériée, chômée et payée la date du mardi 30 mars 2021, jour de l’investiture du Président Faustin Archange TOUADERA réélu pour un second mandat".
Recall that, 5 years ago, on the occasion of President Touadera's first inauguration, a public holiday was not declared due to the week of March 30, 2016, already containing 3 other public holidays (2016-03-29).
