Denmark's Central Bank (Danmarks Nationalbanken) has released its annual list of bank holidays in Denmark, as well as non-working public holidays in Denmark, for the calendar year 2022.

In the aforementioned list, Saturdays and Sundays are not declared as banking holidays in Denmark, as usual (2020-01-04, 2019-01-10, 2018-01-04, 2017-01-04, 2016-01-08, 2015-01-06, 2014-01-08, 2013-01-04, 2012-02-09 and 2011-02-01).

This means that the banks-only holidays of December 24 and December 31 are not included in the list of 2022 bank holidays, as they both occur on a Saturday in 2022.

The Friday after Ascension is a bank holiday in Denmark, although it is not a general non-working public holiday in Denmark (2008-02-25).
