Dominican Republic Public Holiday January 4

The Ministry of Labour of the Dominican Republic has issued a communiqué confirming that, as per the current public holidays legislation, Monday, January 4, 2021, would be an official non-working public holiday in the Dominican Republic on account of the upcoming Día de Santos Reyes annual public holiday of the Dominican Republic which will be moved from January 6, this year ("el miércoles 06 se trabajá").

The aforementioned announcement that the Día de Santos Reyes public holiday would be observed on Monday, January 4, 2021, is in line with the recently-released listing of official public holidays in the Dominican Republic for the year 2021 (2020-11-20), and the current public holidays legislation (1997-06-19), namely law 139-97.
