Honduras Moves Day of the Americas Public Holiday To April 19

The Minister of the Interior of Honduras, Héctor Leonel Ayala, has announced that the Honduran Government had declared Monday, April 19, 2021, as this year's Day of the Americas public holiday, instead of its traditional set date of April 14.

The annual Americas' Day Honduras public holiday of Honduras has often been moved to a nearby Monday, when it fell on a mid-week day (2020-04-04, 2016-04-06, 2015-04-10, 2015-04-08, 2011-04-12, 2010-04-12, 2009-04-14 and 2009-04-03), as per the terms of the Decreto Ejecutive 50-2003 (2003-04-09).
