Hungary 2022 Public Holidays Gazetted

The annual list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2022, as announced by the Government of Hungary, upon the recommendation of the Hungarian National Economy Minister, has been officially gazetted in the Hungarian Gazette (Magyar Közlöny 2021. évi 100. szám), and signed by László Palkovics, the Hungarian Minister for Innovation and Technology.

The publication of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2022, is applicable to both the private and public sectors ("A rendelet 2022. január 1-jén lép hatályba és 2023. január 1-jén hatályát veszti."), as was the case in past years (2020-05-13, 2019-06-26, 2018-08-24, 2017-05-20, 2017-04-07, 2017-01-08, 2015-06-30, 2015-04-30, 2014-07-25, 2013-09-28, 2012-11-22, 2012-09-07, 2011-10-15, 2010-11-21, 2009-09-29, 2008-07-22, 2007-11-20, and 2006-09-12).

In 2022, there will be only 2 extended weekend, an improvement over last year.
