The government of the Nepalese municipalities of Namobuddha and Temal have independently decided to extend the public holidays for the upcoming 2057th Sonam Lhosar to last from Wednesday to Friday, February 10-12, 2021.

Such regional public holidays (2021-01-17 and 2020-11-19) are not included in the annual gazetted lists of official non-working public holidays in Nepal, such as the one for the Nepalese year 2077 (April 2020-April 2021), released last spring (2020-03-31).
