Nigerian Easter 2021 Public Holidays April 2 and 5

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has announced that the Nigerian Government had declared Friday, April 2, and Monday, April 5, 2021, as non-working public holidays to commemorate this year's upcoming Good Friday and Easter Monday non-working public holidays in Nigeria, respectively.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, April 2, and Monday, April 5, 2021, as non-working public holidays is in line with past declarations of Easter public holidays in Nigeria (2020-04-06, 2019-04-17, 2018-03-27, 2017-04-13, 2016-03-22, 2015-04-01, 2014-04-15, 2013-03-26, 2012-03-31, 2011-04-20 and 2010-03-29), and is contained in a statement signed by the Director (Press and Public Relations) of the Ministry of Interior, Mohammed Manga.
