Odisha Declares Janmastami Bank Holiday

The Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the Government of the Indian State of Odisha has declared a bank holiday on account of Sri Krishna Janmastami, on Monday, August 30, 2021 ("Banks and other Banking Institutions etc. in Odisha, will remain closed on 30th August 2021 (Monday) on the occasion of Janmastami").

The aforementioned announcement of a bank holiday on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmastami, further amends (2021-03-09) last year's notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Odisha for the calendar year 2021, as contained in the ROM-Reg-REGN- 0072-2020-30754, dated October 20, 2020, as signed by the Secretary to Government, Usharani Sahoo, by order of the Governor (2020-10-22).
