Oman's Ministry of Labour has announced the dates of the upcoming 2021 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) Omani non-working public holidays, for both the public sector and the private sector of Oman.

In all cases, the public holidays for the private and public sectors of Oman, will begin on Ramadan 29, Wednesday, May 12, 2021, as usual (2020-05-23).

If the 1st of Shawwal falls on Thursday, May 13, 2021, "the holiday will end on Saturday, 3 Shawal 1442 AH, corresponding to 15 May 2021. Therefore, work shall be resumed on Sunday, 16 May 2021", for both the Omani private and public sectors, as was the case for the past 8 years (2020-06-30, 2019-05-28, 2018-06-09, 2017-06-18, 2016-06-27, 2015-07-13, 2014-07-21 and 2013-08-08).

However, if the 1st of Shawwal falls on Friday, May 14, 2021, then "the holiday will end on Monday, 4 Shawal 1442 AH, corresponding to 17 May 2021. Therefore, work shall be resumed on Tuesday, 18 May 2021".

Note that Oman will be going into lockdown from May 8 until May 15, meaning that most businesses will be closed for much longer than the above End of Ramadan public holidays dates.
