The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced bank holidays throughout Pakistan from July 20-22, 2021, inclusively, on the occasion of the annual Eid-ul-Azha bank holiday for the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice.
Earlier this week (2021-07-13), the Interior Ministry of the federal government of Pakistan had announced that the Pakistan public holidays for the upcoming Eid-ulAzha, would run from Tuesday, July 20, 2021, until Thursday, July 22, 2021.
The above represent a shift by on day of the Eid-ul-Azha bank holiday for the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice included in the list of 2021 public holidays in Pakistan, as announced in the "expected dates for public and optional holidays for the calendar year 2021" published by the Government of Pakistan late last year (2020-12-10), and later amended (2021-05-03).
