Qatar's Central Bank (QCB) has announced the dates of the upcoming Qatar bank holidays for the Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) public holidays of Qatar, as running from Wednesday, May 12, until Sunday, May 16, 2021, inclusively.
As per the aforementioned announcement by the Central Bank of Qatar, "the Eid Al Fitr holidays for the current year for all financial institutions in the country (banks, currency exchanges, insurance companies, finance, investment, and financial consultants) will start from next Wednesday May 12, 2021 and will end on Sunday, May 16, 2021 provided that all financial institutions return to work before the public on Monday, May 17, 2021".
Recall that, last week (2021-05-04), Qatar's Emiri Diwan extended the 2021 Eid al-Fitr public sector holidays, for ministries, other government departments, authorities and public institutions for 12 consecutive days, as was the case last year (2020-05-17).
