The UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced that the 2021 End of Ramadan (Eid Al Fitr) public sector holidays of the UAE, would run from Ramadan 29 until the 3rd day of the month of Shawwal, for federal entities in the UAE.

The aforementioned announcement is in line with last year's announcement (2020-12-19), in which the UAE government announced its annual list of expected non-working public holidays in the UAE for the calendar years 2021 and 2022, thus superseding the traditional annual announcement (2018-06-12, 2017-06-14, 2016-06-27, 2015-07-13) of the End of Ramadan (Eid Al Fitr) public holidays of the UAE.

As per the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources of UAE, "if Ramadan is for 29 days, then Eid holidays for federal employees will begin from May 11, Tuesday to Friday, May 14. However, if the month lasts for 30 days, federal employees will get a five-day break from May 11 to May 15 instead".
