Belarus 2022 Bank Holidays Released

The Central Bank of Belarus (Belarusbank) has in turn released its annual list of official bank holidays in Belarus for the upcoming calendar year 2022 (except Saturday and Sunday).

Today's announcement follows the recent "Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated October 11, 2021 No. 572" (2021-12-14), which contained the announcement of the list of one-off bridge and day in lieu public holidays in Belarus for 2022.

The aforementioned "Постановление Совета Министров Республики Беларусь от 11 октября 2021 г. № 572" is referred to in the list of 2022 bank holidays in the following footnote "According to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 11.10.2021 No. 572, the following working days were postponed in 2022: from March 7 (Monday) to March 12 (Saturday), 2022; and from May 2 (Monday) to May 14 (Saturday), 2022.".

Once again (2021-01-03, 2019-12-30, 2019-01-03, 2017-12-29, 2016-12-08, 2015-12-08, 2015-11-25, 2014-11-22, 2013-12-02 and 2012-12-01), that aforementioned Resolution of the Council of Ministers, announced the one-off bridge and day in lieu public holidays in Belarus for 2022, before the beginning of the year, rather than on a case-by-case basis as was the case in previous years (2012-06-03, 2012-04-09, 2012-03-01, and 2011-12-29).
