Ghana's Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, announced that Ghana's Government had declared Friday and Monday, April 15 and 18, 2022, as public holidays, to commemorate Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday and Monday, April 15 and 18, 2022, as public holidays for the 2022 observance of Easter in Ghana, is in line with the list of 2022 public holidays in Ghana, as announced in the "Statutory Public Holidays And Commemorative Days In The Republic Of Ghana For The Year 2022", released earlier this year (2022-01-11).
