Nigerian Easter 2022 Public Holidays April 15 and 18

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has announced that the Nigerian Government had declared Friday, April 15, and Monday, April 18, 2022, as non-working public holidays to commemorate this year's upcoming Good Friday and Easter Monday non-working public holidays in Nigeria, respectively.

As announced by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Shuaib Belgore, the declaration of Friday, April 15, and Monday, April 18, 2022, as non-working public holidays is in line with past declarations of Easter public holidays in Nigeria (2021-03-30, 2020-04-06, 2019-04-17, 2018-03-27, 2017-04-13, 2016-03-22, 2015-04-01, 2014-04-15, 2013-03-26, 2012-03-31, 2011-04-20 and 2010-03-29).
