Uzbekistan Releases Navruz 2022 Public Holidays Decree

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed the decree "On the preparation and holding of the national holiday Navruz in 2022" which formally extends the duration of the upcoming Navruz public holidays to March 19-23, 2022, inclusively.

The aforementioned presidential decree (О подготовке и проведении всенародного праздника Навруз в 2022 году) follows that on late last year "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of days off in 2022" which added a mixture of mid-week public holidays around Navruz and the End of Ramadan, as well as some bridge public holidays (2021-12-13).
