Vanuatu Cancels April and May 2022 Public Holidays

The President of Vanuatu, Moses Obed Tallis, has signed a revocation order cancelling the upcoming public holidays of April 12, April 22, and May 24, 2022, which had initially been declared for the Malekula Parliamentary by-election, Maleuka Provincial Council by-election, and Port Vila Municipality ordinary election.

The aforementioned gazette notification, thus further amends the initial list of 2022 public holidays in Vanuatu (2022-01-17), as often happens in Vanuatu (2020-09-07, 2020-07-13, 2020-01-09, ...).
