Use the F11 and F12 keys to copy the message text and call stack to the clipboard

Modal Messages appear in a separate window and interrupt the use of Q++Studio until you close that window by clicking on one of its buttons.

This is in contrast to design-time and run-time messages which appear in the messages window, without causing any interruption.

Copying message text

Pressing the F11 function key when Q++Studio displays a modal message will copy the text of the message currently displayed to the clipboard, so that you may paste it in an email to technical support, or for your own reference.

Copying current call stack

Pressing the F12 function key when Q++Studio displays a modal message will copy the current call stack to the clipboard, so that you may send it to technical support. This call stack is the same as the one displayed in the Q++Studio error dialog and provides information as to the sequence of functions that were called before the present dialog was displayed.
