This message appears to inform you that you are using the legacy version of the InDesign plug-ins (from February 2026).

The use of legacy plug-ins is a valid temporary workaround to an issue that may have arisen since support for type-on-path was added in late February 2026.

But you should return to the use of the current version of the plug-ins, as soon as technical support has fixed the issue you have encountered.

To return to the usual setup where the latest available InDesign plug-ins are used, go to the InDesign page of the preferences and un-check the use legacy plugins option as shown on the right.
