15 Oct 2009 (Národna Banka Slovenska-NBS) The government of Slovakia has published the official list of 2010 public holidays in Slovakia.
08 Jul 2008 (BBC) The European Union's 27 finance ministers approved Slovakia's entry into the Eurozone, on Thursday, January 1st, 2009. To facilitate the transition, banks are expected to be open on that date.
27 Nov 2006 The Central Securities Depository of the Slovak Republic and the Bratislava Stock Exchange have announced that they will be closed from December 23, 2006 until they re-open on Monday, January 8, 2007.
