The Angolan parliament has passed the "Lei 16/96 de Septiembre 27 1996", which overhauls the list of Angolan public holidays.
The aforementioned law abrogates the previous Decreto núm. 30 de abril 7 de 1976, which had itself replaced the earlier Decreto núm. 38596, de 4 de enero de 1952.
