Following yesterday's massive demonstration in Kiev, Communist leader Petro Symonenko and Socialist leader Oleksandr Moroz, demanded that the government re-establish the October Revolution anniversary as a public holiday.
Earlier this year, Ukraine's Parliament passed a law removing November 7, October Revolution, from the list of official public holidays in the Ukraine (01-Feb-2000).
