The government of Turkmenistan has adopted a resolution declaring Wednesday, September 19, 2011, as a non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan.
Apparently, the aforementioned, one-off, non-working public holiday was declared to coincide with the release of the Rukhnama, a collection of poetry and philosophical musings by Turkmen President, Saparmurat Niyazov.
