The Bahamas' Cabinet Office has issued a communique announcing the official Bahamas public holidays for the calendar year 2005.
As was the case last year (13-Jan-2004), the aforementioned announcement leaves the decision as to the declaration of a day in lieu public holiday to a later date. namely, the Boxing Day public holiday is listed on December 26, the same date as that announced for the Christmas Day day in lieu public holiday, adding as a footnote that "Boxing Day may be further reviewed".

Bahamas 2005 Public Holidays Announced
