Monaco's National Council has voted Law 1298 making Tuesday, July 12, 2005, a one-off public holiday, to coincide with the date when Prince Albert II will accede to the throne.
The "Loi n° 1298, déclarant jour férié légal le mardi 12 juillet 2005" is the culmination of the "Projet de loi n° 798, déclarant jour ferie legal le mardi 12 juillet 2005", introduced last month (17-May-2005).
