The president of Turkmenistan, Saparmyrat Nyyazow, has signed a decree declaring Thursday, November 3, 2005, as a national non-working public holiday on the occasion of the Oraza (End of Ramadan) Muslim festival.
The End of Ramadan has been a non-working day off public holiday in Turkmenistan ever since the Decree No 2432 "On Id al-Fitr holiday" dated 14 January 1998 (12-Jan-1998).
