Czech Republic 2010 Public Holidays Announced

(Posted on Thursday, October 1, 2009)

Source: Czech National Bank (Prag)

The central bank of the Czech Republic, the Czech National Bank, has announced the twelve bank and public holidays for calendar year 2010 in the Czech Republic.

The bank has re-iterated the fact that public holidays in the Czech Republic do not follow the "sliding holiday" concept, that is to say that when a fixed-date public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday is a normal business day.
