Nicaragua's Minister of Labour, Jeannette Chávez Gómez, has announced that MITRAB (Ministerio del Trabajo) had declared public sector holidays from Thursday, December 24, 2009, until Sunday, January 3, 2010, inclusively.
This announcement, based on Article 76 of Nicaragua's Labor Code, has become expected annually (05-Dec-2008, 03-Dec-2007, and 14-Dec-2006).
