Panama's President, Martín Torrijos, has decided not to move the upcoming May 1st public holiday to the following Monday, May 4th, 2009.
Earlier this week (21-Apr-2009), the government of Panama was officially reported to be still hesitating to use the discretionary powers of the President to move the May public holiday under the terms of the law 70 of 2007 (29-Nov-2007).
