The DRC's ministre de l’Emploi, du Travail et de la Prévoyance sociale, Ferdinand Kambere Kalumbi, has issued a communiqué declaring Saturday and Monday, January 16 and 18, 2010, as nationwide public holidays in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The aforementioned declaration of public holidays is due to this year's coincidence of the January 16 and January 17 annual public holidays with the weekend.
