Moldova's Minister of Labour, Social Welfare and Family, Valentina Buliga, has announced that May 15 would henceforth be a public holiday in Moldova, to be included in the list of holidays and days of rest as Family Day.
Note that despite the terms of today's announcement, Family Day is already included in Article 5 of the recent (15-Apr-2010) draft law "On holidays, commemorative days and days of rest in Moldova", but only as a "Traditional Celebration" (dedicated to the rebirth of national culture, secular customs, traditions and popular traditions).
