The government of Thailand has decided to extend today's public holiday for an additional day, tomorrow, Friday, May 14, 2010, due to the situation of unrest in the capital.
Two months ago (14-Mar-2010), under similar conditions, and despite persistent rumours to the contrary (05-Mar-2010), Thailand's cabinet had decided not to declare a one-off public holiday on Monday, March 15, 2010.
