The Armenian Head of the Government Staff, David Sargsyan, has announced that the Armenian government had declared a one-off public holiday on Monday, March 7, 2011, to link the weekend with the Tuesday, March 8, 2011, annual Women's Day public holiday.

As is usual (10-Sep-2010), in compensation for this one-off public holiday, Saturday, March 12, 2011, will be a regular working day in Armenia.
