In yesterday's meeting No.123, the Italian Council of Ministers has confirmed a one-off public holiday on Thursday, March 17, 2011, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.

This is the first time in the memory of most Italians that a one-off public holiday is declared in Italy.
