Uruguay's President, José Mujica, has issued a decree declaring Monday, February 28, 2011, as a one-off national holiday to coincide with the beginning of the official events commemorating Uruguay's bicentennial.
As per the text of the decree, this one-off national holiday will be a working day ("decretó como feriado nacional laborable el próximo lunes 28 de febrero").
