Armenia Amends March 9 Public Holiday

The Armenian Head of the Government Staff, David Sargsyan, has announced that the Armenian government had amended its earlier decision which declared a one-off public holiday on Friday, March 9, 2012.

Last month (22-Feb-2012), he Armenian Head of the Government Staff, David Sargsyan, had announced that in compensation for the one-off public holiday on Friday, March 9, 2012, it had declared Saturday, March 17, 2012, as a regular working day.

As per today's aforementioned announcement, the Government of Armenia adopted a decision to announce Saturday, March 24, 2012, a working day instead of Saturday, March 17, 2012, "to meet the political calendar and the schedule of events of the president".
