The aforementioned declaration of Friday, October 26, 2012, as the date for the upcoming Kurban Ait (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holiday in Kazakhstan is in line with the official list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the calendar year 2012, released earlier this year (17-Feb-2012) as per legislation passed a decade ago (06-Jan-2003).
