The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abba Moro, has announced that the Nigerian Government had declared Thursday and Friday, October 25 and 26, 2012, as paid non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria on account of the upcoming Eid El-Kabir (Feast of Sacrifice).
Contrary to what happened for the last Eid (13-Aug-2012), with these early Eid dates, the Nigerian Government seems to returned to its previous practice of following the Libyan Muslim calendar (14-Sep-2007).
