Turkmenistan's President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov, has signed a decree ("On the celebration of Kurban Bairam") declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan on account of the upcoming Kurban Bairam (Feast of Sacrifice).
The aforementioned announcement does not mention what is to happen to the annual October 27-28 Independence Day public holidays, and whether they will be moved as the last holiday that fell on a Sunday did (14-Aug-2012).
However, the presidential decree does specify that Monday, October 29, 2012, will be an additional non-working public holiday due to the fact that the last day of the 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan on account of the upcoming Kurban Bairam is a Sunday.
