The UAE's Federal Government, through its respective ministries, has announced the dates of the upcoming 2012 Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays, as usual in separate announcements for the public sector and the private sector.
The UAE's Minister of Education, Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, has announced that the upcoming Eid Al Fitr public holidays in ministries and federal institutions will run from Thursday, October 25, 2012, until Sunday, October 28, 2012, inclusively.
In a separate announcement, Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, the UAE's Minister of Labour, officially announced that all business establishments in the private sector would observe non-working public holidays from run from Thursday, October 25, 2012, until Saturday, October 27, 2012, inclusively.
