The government of the Ivory Coast, through its Ministère de l'Emploi, des Affaires Sociales et de la Solidarité Nationale, has announced that it had declared Monday, July 28, 2014, as the date of the annual national non-working public holiday (jour férié et chômé sur toute l'étendue du territoire national) on account of the upcoming Aïd el Fitr (End of Ramadan).

As per the aforementioned announcement, as was the case 2 years ago (18-Aug-2012), the Government invoked the "décret n° 2011-371 du 04 novembre 2011" (08-Nov-2011) which amended the Décret n°96-205 du 7 mars 1996 (09-May-1996), in announcing the date of Monday, July 28, 2014, as the date of the annual national non-working public holiday (jour férié et chômé sur toute l'étendue du territoire national) on account of the upcoming Aïd el Fitr (End of Ramadan).
