Governing Law: Official public holidays in Saint Kitts and Nevis are regulated by Public Holidays Order 1984 (Official Gazette, 1984-03-16, N. 2, 2 p.) which repealed the Public Holidays Order 1979, and was itself later amended in 1986 by the Public Holidays (Amendment) Order 1986 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 12, Official Gazette, 1986-12-31, N. 12, 1 p.).
Kim Collins Day (August 25) is one of the officially listed federal holidays of Saint Kitts and Nevis, but it is not a public holiday (ie. it is a regular working day).
