Governing Law: Official public holidays in the Solomon Islands are regulated by the Public Holidays Act [Cap 151], An Act To Make Provision For Public Holidays, last consolidated in 1996.  Weekend Public Holidays: are regulated by Sections 2-1 and 2-2 of the aformentioned Act.  Provincial Holidays: Each Province has its own day.
