The Bermuda Senate is to debate today the "Public Holidays Amendment Act" whose most contentious aspect is the renaming of the Cup Match Day public holiday as Emancipation Day.
The bill was introduced and passed last month in the Bermuda House of Assemblies (1999-11-05).
