St Vincent and the Grenadines Public Holidays Amendments Bill Introduced

A bill, for an Act to amend the Public Holidays (Amendment) Act 2001 (Cap.206), was introduced and had its first reading today in the St Vincent and the Grenadines legislative assembly.

As per the text of the bill as presented in the Hansard, "This Bill seeks to amend the Public Holiday's Act (Cap.206) by providing for National Heroes Day celebrated annually on the Second Monday in March instead of the 22nd day of January and abolishing Discovery Day as a Public Holiday.".
