Guyana Denies December 30 Public Holiday

Guyana's Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that Monday, December 30, 2002, is not a public holiday.

The Ministry did, however, give permission to public servants who wish, to go view the body of the former President Mr. H.D. Hoyte, on Monday morning, December 30, 2002.
