Pakistan Declares May 1st Public Holiday

Pakistan's Ministry of Interior has announced that Wednesday, May 1, 2002, would be observed as a non-working public holiday.

The May 1st, May Day, public holiday was kept despite the purge in the number of public holidays a few years ago (1998-06-02).
